When we talk about emotional education, we refer to the teaching style that allows managing emotions from an early age. This process also enables the development of greater awareness in managing these emotions in certain moments of life, helping self-control, social interaction, and empathy.

Its primary objective is that we can understand our own emotions and those of others. In this way, the person will be able to build an identity and self-confidence, improving their relationship with their environment.

Emotional management calls for greater awareness of our feelings, encouraging personal and social development. Not working on our emotions will lead to extreme mental highs and lows, negatively impacting daily life.

How does emotional management in the classroom help?

Emotional Management education begins in the first years of life, which is the stage where children retain the most information and skills. Emotional management reaches its peak in primary and secondary school, and teenagers achieve personal and social growth. One can work on this skill through activities, games, drawings, songs, and conversations.

Working on this emotional management helps motivation and intellectual development in the school environment. Moreover, people who have received this type of education have greater confidence and self-esteem, as they have the tools to manage their emotions and those of others.

Although academic development is essential, emotional management should also be a priority. This skill must be worked on, as it is not innate.

In conclusion, people who receive emotional education during their formative years can distinguish emotions, regulate them, and express them more healthily.
