After over two years of a pandemic and many months of confinement, the relationship between students and teachers has been negatively affected. Some consequences we face from the pandemic include post-traumatic effects such as anxiety, depression, or violent tendencies.

One of the ways to work on healthy school coexistence is by playing sports, since physical activity provides multiple benefits both in the school and psychologically, allowing for a more well-rounded development of the students.

Building healthy habits and playing sports requires motor skills, coordination, and sportsmanship. Physical activity helps improve student relationships between peers, which makes sports a valuable strategy to improve communication and school coexistence.

Not only do these activities require much explanation, but teenagers can also actively learn how to work as a team, strengthening the role that games and sports activities play in teaching.

Additionally, working on strengthening social skills through sports provides more defense mechanisms in the case of school violence, as it helps to lessen insecurities and fears.
