BRAVE UP! Announces Successful Pilots of its Bullying and Cyberbullying Detection Software at Pelham City Schools

New York, New York, BRAVE UP!, the leading software company dedicated to providing solutions for school safety, is proud to announce the successful pilots of its Bullying and Cyberbullying Detection software at Pelham City Schools in the state of Alabama.

The pilots, which started in October and ended in December of 2022, were carried out in four different schools across Pelham City Schools, with 130 participating students. The pilots aimed to identify and detect cases of bullying and cyberbullying, with the A.I. software analyzing the language used in messages and other communications.

After the conclusion of the pilots, BRAVE UP! met with the lead counselor Shannon Boger and the counseling team at Pelham City Schools for a debrief session, where they shared the findings, results, and positive feedback from the pilots. The software successfully confirmed certain suspicions about some students and uncovered and addressed microaggression, bullying, and cyberbullying cases.

Based on the debrief session, the Pelham City Schools were impressed with the pilot’s results and the potential for increased efficiency and productivity within the counseling team.

“We are thrilled to announce the success of our pilots at Pelham City Schools,” said Juan Ramirez, Head of Revenue and Growth of BRAVE UP! “Our software has proven to be a valuable tool for the counseling team, and we are excited to bring this technology to more schools across the country.”
