This August, our team visited Manizales, Colombia, to participate in Conecta 2022, where ten global education technology startups were invited.
The event was organized by Fundación Luker, an institution that promotes innovative solutions for education, where 52 local educational institutions were present, allowing them to enrich their virtual education process.
Our BRAVE UP! representative at Conecta 2022 was Luis Felipe Zanoni, one of our software’s founders, who spoke from the origins of our platform to the impact it has generated across multiple academic institutions in Chile, the United States, Mexico, and Colombia.

Additionally, Luis Felipe Zanoni commented, “This experience at Conecta is significant for BRAVE UP! because it allows us to evaluate and learn how Colombian educational institutions are adapting to the new challenges of the future. In addition, the startups that participated created an important synergy, which was very comforting”.
Previous to our presentation, BRAVE UP! collected data from eight-grade classes from four schools in the area, detecting – in real time– classroom dynamics to share with the audience in Manizales.
At the end of the day, attendees voted on the project they found the most interesting, where BRAVE UP! won second place and generated great interest from the public, who came to learn more about our proposal.
