BRAVE UP!, the industry-leading software company dedicated to school safety solutions, is thrilled to announce the launch of its groundbreaking Bullying and Cyberbullying Detection software pilots in LATAM in partnership with Cognita.

From June to December 2023, these pilots will encompass many schools, including 13 in Chile, 6 in Brazil, 9 in Colombia, and many more, led by Juan Ramirez. The primary objective is to proactively identify and combat bullying and cyberbullying by leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to analyze the language used in messages and other forms of communication.

These pilots represent a significant milestone as the first in LATAM, paving the way for positive transformation. BRAVE UP!’s pioneering technology is poised to impact the lives of over 30,000 students by year-end, offering preventive and safety measures that empower schools to intervene early and mitigate the escalation of conflicts, ultimately reducing school violence and bullying.

Following the early implementation stages, BRAVE UP! conducted a debrief session with Carolina Bergamasco, lead counselor for Cognita Chile. The session allowed sharing of findings, results, and positive feedback from previous pilot programs. Remarkably, the software effectively confirmed suspicions about specific students and successfully addressed cases of microaggression, bullying, and cyberbullying.

The pilot’s remarkable results left Cognita impressed and acknowledged the potential for enhanced efficiency and productivity within their counseling team. “We are delighted to announce the early success of the pilots at Cognitas Chile,” declared Juan Ramirez, Head of Revenue and Growth at BRAVE UP! “Our software has proven to be an invaluable tool for the counseling team, and we are eager to expand its implementation to schools globally.”

Josep Caubet, Chief Executive at COGNITA LATAM, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with BRAVE UP!  in LATAM for the pilots with their Bullying and Cyberbullying Detection software at our schools. These pilots mark a significant milestone in promoting school safety and creating a nurturing student environment. We look forward to its positive impact on thousands of students across the region.”

Michael Spencer, CEO of Global Expansion Strategies, a global growth, strategy, advisory, and investment firm responsible for managing Cognita Global, stated. We are excited to work alongside BRAVE UP! to implement their cutting-edge technology in LATAM schools. This partnership aligns with our mission to foster safe and inclusive educational spaces. We aim to empower schools to proactively address bullying and cyberbullying, ultimately enhancing student well-being and academic success.”

These statements illustrate the enthusiasm and unwavering dedication shared between BRAVE UP! and its LATAM partners in leveraging the Bullying and Cyberbullying Detection software to create safer, more supportive learning environments for students.

With an expansive reach across the United States, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, and beyond, BRAVE UP! is actively implementing its solutions in virtual, charter, private, and public schools in the United States and international global school operators.
