This summer, the BRAVE UP! USA Team traveled to Austin, Texas, to be exhibitors at the “ASCA 2022 Annual Conference” hosted by the American School Counselor Association, where several education startups were present.
The event aimed to showcase professionals and tools dedicated to school counseling, allowing them to learn, make connections, and share products to help improve various aspects of the educational field.
Alvaro Carrasco, CEO and Founder of BRAVE UP!, shared his excitement about the conference: “It was an incredible experience that we had been looking forward to for a while. It was the first time we shared our platform and value proposition with such a large community.”
The ASCA Annual Conference hosted over three thousand counselors, educators, and school administrators who got to see our software in person. We successfully attracted more than three hundred participants interested in knowing more about, trying out, and using our platform.
Enrique de Lima, co-Head of Growth at BRAVE UP! USA commented on the reception of our software: “Our product received great interest from counselors. There was never a moment where our team was not working at full throttle, and we hope to see exponential growth in the next few days of sales and pilots in school districts across the country.”
Juan Ramirez, co-Head of Growth at BUP! USA, also mentioned that “We learned that on average, schools in the U.S have around 500-700 students, and they need a tool that not only focuses on prevention, but also supports the management of such a large amount of students.”
The event also allowed BRAVE UP! to establish ties between multiple startups and to discover new ways to improve the social-emotional well-being of students, learning from the different approaches and empowering each other.
