BRAVE UP! is the only startup from Chile selected for the event, and one of only three chosen from Latin America, alongside Mexico’s Factory and Colombia’s Fundación Soy Oportunidad.
The event will take place in Denver, Colorado from April 26th to April 28th and will feature two exhibitions: “Innovation Plaza”, which aims to offer innovative solutions for cities, and “The Summit of the Americas Cities”, which will highlight different leaders sharing their stories.
During the event, BRAVE UP!’s CEO and founder, Álvaro Carrasco, will participate in the “Inspiring Stories: Panel of Young Entrepreneurs” program, where he will share his experiences about leading digital transformation initiatives.
“It’s amazing to keep expanding the impact of BRAVE UP! into new spaces. We need to raise awareness, and being able to interact with leaders of the Americas and young leaders helps us from a very powerful dimension. I hope to create more relationships and ways to collaborate to reach schools and young people across the continent,” says Álvaro Carrasco.
Luis Viguria, the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) representative of the OAS, also highlighted BRAVE UP!’s contribution to education and the software’s ability to connect with youth and governmental entities.
BRAVE UP! is an educational software that uses a highly advanced mathematical model to analyze variables that cannot be obtained by teachers or counselors when making decisions and forming courses. The software provides relevant information about students to schools and also combats bullying and digital violence. In 2022, the platform prevented more than 3,000 potential cases of school violence through its early prevention system.
It’s worth mentioning that in 2014, the OAS awarded BRAVE UP! as the best social entrepreneurship in Latin America.
